In-House Courses
St. Luke’s Home, Mahon, Cork has been involved in the provision of residential care for older adults since 1872. The history of the Home has been one of ongoing development and the opening of Northridge House, our dedicated education centre, is another milestone in our history
All courses are presented by accredited facilitators and all participants will receive certificates. Many of our courses have An Bord Altranais Category 1 Approval. During November 2011 we were accredited as a Registered Provider by QQI. We offer a number of modules, at competitive prices, across the healthcare and managerial sectors at both Level 5 and 6.

Individual courses are also provided off site and are tailor made to the needs of the Care Centre, helping to meet the diverse and fluctuating needs, which vary between Centres. Courses we offer are responsive to your needs and those of Statutory Requirements. All Courses at St. Luke’s Home commence at 9:30 sharp. Places are limited and to ensure an appropriate learning environment for each participant early booking is advised. Lunch is provided for those undertaking full day courses. Please contact Northridge House to discuss how we might meet your training needs.
To confirm a place the appropriate application form and fee must be submitted in advance.
