All Training Postponed

Temporary Restriction on Visitors to St . Luke’s Home

As of Friday, 6th March, families of residents of St. Luke's Home have been informed that there will be a temporary restriction on visiting the Nursing Home in the light of the current concerns re Coronavirus. With our focus on the well being of our residents this decision will be reviewed on a daily basis and we will keep you informed. Conference Competition

Healthcare Professional Carers Training

Skillnet program returns on 25th March for more training for QQI Level 5 Care of the Older Person, QQI Level 5 Care Skills, This program also includes Manual & Patient Handling, Safeguarding, Infection Control, and CPR, plus additional courses. ABLE Brief Intervention Training

Cork charity, Ag Eisteacht, is running additional brief intervention training courses in Cork and Dublin for frontline staff working in health, social care and community roles. The ABLE model develops practitioners’ ability to build relationships and to manage boundaries. A three-day course takes place in Cork on November 18th and December 4th & 5th at Northridge House, Castle Road, Blackrock, Cork, T12 H970.
