QQI was established in November 2012, as part of an amalgamation of four previous accreditation bodies.  The mission of QQI is to promote the enhancement of quality in Ireland’s further and higher education and training; to quality assure providers of education and training; and to support and promote a qualifications system that benefits learners and other stakeholders. QQI is responsible for the external quality assurance of further and higher education and training in Ireland. It validates programmes for certain providers in these sectors and make awards to learners. QQI is also responsible for the maintenance, development and review of the NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications).

The INMO  is the  professional organisation and trade union specially for nurses and midwives and through its educational department provides validation for an extensive suite of professional courses

Northridge House ensures that all courses that nurses may attend have been submitted for and have received validation by INMO

 

All Ireland Clinical Pastoral Education Centre Accreditation Board (Accredited 2017)

Northridge House provides units of Clinical Pastoral Education, the prime modality for pastoral ministry training
